bem interessante esta mini distro, chamada movix2, que resumidamente, da boot pelo cdrom, carrega o X Window ( nao sei qual wm ) , ai carrega o mplayer, e ai vc pode tirar o cdrom do drive de cd, colocar aquele divx de filme e asistir numa boa...
eis um trecho que peguei do forum:

eMoviX = resides on the CD with a video file. The CD is bootable, and plays the file(s) on disk. Each disk has the boot code and player software to play the movie(s) on the CD.
MoviX = A bootable distro (on CD) that loads into a RAMdisk. The CD can then be ejected, and disks with movies can be loaded with divx/mpg/etc on them, OR movies can be stored on a local hard drive. MoviX has a text based menu system, and is my favorite of the three.
MoviX2 = similar to MoviX, but X based. The least developed (I think) of the 3, and requiring the most hardware (due to Xwindows)
