Linux Mint Mate 18 Serena Webcam integrada não reconhece.

Boa Tarde.
Instalei o Linux Mint Mate 18 Serena em meu notebook porém o sistema não reconhece a webcam integrada.
Quando ligo o notebook a luz da webcam acende e logo em seguida apaga.
Ja realizei varias tentativas mas nenhuma deu resultado.
Instalei o Skype e também não reconheceu a webcam.
