Problema com importação de fontes TrueType, URGENTE!

Question

Tudo bem eu fiz tudo aquilo que o Morimoto diz:

No Linux, abra o diret&oacute;rio /usr/X11R6/lib/X11/fonts:
cd /usr/X11R6/lib/X11/fonts

Crie o diret&oacute;rio TrueType:
mkdir TrueType

Abra o diret&oacute;rio rec&eacute;m criado:
cd TrueType

Copie as fontes para dentro deste diret&oacute;rio (fa&ccedil;a pelo Konqueror mesmo, use o modo gr&aacute;fico para variar um pouco! :-)

D&ecirc; os comandos para instalar as fontes e ativar o caminho:
ttmkfdir -o fonts.scale
mkfontdir
chkfontpath --add /usr/X11R6/lib/X11/fonts/TrueType

Tudo bem, mas ao dar o &uacute;ltimo comando ele d&aacute; a mensagem:

bash: chkfontpath: comand not found

E agora??????????????

Tente dar um:
# apt-get install chkfontpath

J&aacute; tive problemas com esse &uacute;ltimo comando tamb&eacute;m em outras distros, procure o pacote que instala esse chkfontpath.

Ou tente pelo instalador de fontes do KDE, funcionar que &eacute; uma beleza...

Vc t&aacute; usando o Kurumin?
Se estiver, use o instalador de fontes do KDE que &eacute; bem mais f&aacute;cil.

Li o &uacute;ltimo post e me esqueci de avisar.

O apt-get s&oacute; funciona de tiver usando o Debian ou kurumin. Se estiver em outra distribui&ccedil;&atilde;o procure pelo pacote nos CDs com mesmo nome... Mas o KDE ainda &eacute; mais indicado...

Sim, eu uso o Kurumin, j&aacute; procurei o instalador de fontes mais n&atilde;o achei... Onde t&aacute; isso. J&aacute; procurei pelo centro de controle do KDE mais n&atilde;o achei....
Vou tentar usar o apt-get, mais como por enquanto to sem o linux (t&ocirc; usando o monitor do PC que tem linux para consertar um HD) ent&atilde;o voc&ecirc; pode me ensinar a entrar nesse instalador de fontes???

Tente /sbin/chkconfig

Ou veja onde est&aacute; o execut&aacute;vel dele com o comando '# whereis chkconfig'

Eu tive esse problema no RH 7.3 era falta de PATH que indicasse onde estava o chkconfig o jeito &eacute; dar um whereis chkfontpath ver onde ele est&aacute; instalado provavelmente no caminho que o Tiago indicou e executar a partir dali:

# /sbin/./chkfontpath

No KDE procura por algo como Instalador do KDE q tem o instalador de fontes, agora to no Ruwindows e n&atilde;o posso te dizer o caminho certo

Mas talvez ele j&aacute; esteja instalado, tente um
# rpm -qa | grep chkfontpath para se certificar, caso ele apare&ccedil;a est&aacute; ok.

Outra: Em vez de digitar o comando: 
# chkfontpath --add /usr/X11R6/lib/X11/fonts/TrueType

Fa&ccedil;a assim:
# cd /sbin
# ./chkfontpath --add /usr/X11R6/lib/X11/fonts/TrueType

E diga se deu certo...

Eu ia perguntar porque ele n&atilde;o instalava o rpm, mas eu percebi que le pede [Y/n], eu punha y e n&atilde;o Y... Como eu sou tontinho, viu!
