Instalei o Arch aqui pela nova ISO do Don't Panic.
Só que tô com um grande problema pra me conectar: o dhcpcd simplesmente NÃO funciona. Ele fica rodando em foreground e nunca termina. O boot não termina quando ativo o " eth0="dhcp" " no rc.conf, e quando ativo e rodo o /etc/rc.d/network restart ele fica na mesma. Rodo o dhcpcd eth0 e continua na mesma *****.
Minha placa de rede é uma Broadcom, o módulo dela é o b44, e sobe no boot.
Resolvi instalar o Arch no VirtualBox do Fedora...e adivinhem: a rede funcionou PERFEITAMENTE!
Reinstalei o Arch. O problema persistiu.
Resolvi montar a partição do Arch, copiar o meu resolv.conf pra ele e fazer um pacman -Syu. Funcionou, mas não teve nenhuma atualização do dhcpcd.
Resolvi rebootar e apagar o /etc/resvolv.conf, subir novamente o módulo b44, setar todos os hostames pra localhost e localhost.localdomain e tentar novamente. Dessa vez fui à cozinha tomar um copo de água, depois fui ao banheiro. Quando voltei tava na mesma.
