E ai grande... eu tinha um problema parecido no XP.. veja como resolvi?
Não é exatamente seu caso.. mas ja é um caminho
For those who haven`t gained any (U)DMA in windows2000/XP by default or with
driver updates there may be a solution left.
Ok Here is how you do it:
First of all. Make absolutely sure this is not a BIOS problem or lack of proper
40pin/80 connector UDMA cable. But I trust you all now the basic rules
Afterwards go to the following lines in your windows2000/XP registry:
(This line is only for those who needs to utilize ATA66 in addition to (U)DMA)!
HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\System\CurrentControlSet\Control\Class\{4D36E96A-E325-11CE-
BFC1-08002BE10318}\0000
Make a new DWord named "EnableUDMA66" and give it the value: 1
HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SYSTEM\CurrentControlSet\Control\Class\{4D36E96A-E325-11CE-
BFC1-08002BE10318}\0000
Make a new DWord named "DMA fix"; and give it the value: 1
HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SYSTEM\CurrentControlSet\Control\Class\{4D36E96A-E325-11CE-
BFC1-08002BE10318}\0001
Make a new DWord named: "DmaDetectionLevel"; and give it the value: 2
HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SYSTEM\CurrentControlSet\Control\Class\{4D36E96A-E325-11CE-
BFC1-08002BE10318}\0002
Make a new DWord named "DmaDetectionLevel" and give it the value: 2
(For those who have a PCChips motherboard with a SIS 530/540/620/630 chipset
Run the W2kide.exe from PCCHIPS to set up the correct timings and detection of
your UDMA cabel (This is important !!! ) You can get it here:
ftp://210.17.18.14/driver/ide/win2000/sis630.zip
I know that a lot you folks have tried this utility with no luck. And you are
probably quite tired of it : ) But it wont work without the above added
registry lines either. But if you add the registry fix as described above and
use this SiS utility you could possibly gain BETTER transfer rates in win2k/XP
than in Win98/ME. Hard to believe;I know. But trust me on this. I`ve done it!)
Next: Reboot.
You will know have (U)DMA/ATA66 transfer rates in windows 2000/XP. Just
remember one thing: With these added registry lines you leave windows no choice
whether it should use (U)DMA or not. You are forcing it to do so! But it
haven`t given me any problems yet. Only advantages.Enjoy ; )
