Problema: Ubuntu + lm-sensors

Desde que instalei o Ubuntu 9.10 percebi que o lm-sensors "atrofiou" porque ficou aparecendo só o sensor do CPU (antes aparecia voltagens, rotações, temps). Como esse era o único que eu usava, não me preocupei muito. Agora que troquei de processador, por um Phenom II X3, ele não reconhece mais nem a temperatura do CPU. Ao dar o comando sensors-detect:

Existe algum substituto ao lm-sensors ou alguma forma de resolver isso? Na verdade eu nem uso o lm-sensors em si, e sim o sensors-applet (que usa o lm-sensors).
